I saw the piece on renting shares on Planetwealth.TV and was intrigued. This spells it out more and I think when I can afford it - if I go this way for investing - I will leave it to an expert - someone like Elly! The maths just bamboozles me.

Hi Ange

You are writing great articles here and I am really enjoying them.

Like any type of trading there are risks involved and covered calls only work in a market that is trending up.

Sometimes people place put options too close underneath their stocks and don't allow room for the market to move and they get exercised when the stock goes down in price.

Hi Ange,

I really like your advice of paper trading for at least three months before you start spending money. It sounds like a great way to practice some of these strategies without the stress of having any money on the line.

I have a lot to learn so I really need to learn more about covered calls. I'm not sure about this one.
