Yes, the price of stock is everchanging , sometimes in small incremets, sometimes in large.

What I look for is the way the stock is trending and if it has hit it's third 52 week high as history has shown that once it hits that , there is usually a reversal so I don't trade it if I am doing covered calls.

Fundamental analysis must be considered too when choosing a stock to trade.

Hi Sean,

Is the price of every stock determined by things like what's happening within the company, what's happening around the world in terms of the news, what's happening within the market of the company and the price people are willing to pay for the stock?

Do company owners get to decide how much their company is worth the first time it's listed on the stock exchange? I need to learn more about fundamental and technical analysis to work out what's happening with the price of stocks.
